Media and transcripts
Weekcut imports videos and audio you select. It saves working media, transcripts, edits, learned words, styles and export history on your device. Speech recognition and editing run locally. Weekcut does not upload this content for transcription. Downloading speech models requires a network connection. Hugging Face and its download infrastructure receive network information such as your IP address and the requested model files, not your videos or transcripts.
Purchases
Apple processes subscriptions and payment details. When configured for purchases, RevenueCat starts with the app and processes pseudonymous app-user identifiers, purchase and entitlement records, and device/network metadata. Storage, exports and deletion
Local projects remain until removed. Deleting a project removes its working records according to the app's deletion controls. Saved styles and learned words are managed separately. Exported videos, Photos copies and device backups can remain outside the app. Their destination or backup provider controls those copies. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or delete store transaction records.
Permissions and choices
The system picker limits imports to selected files. Photo access supports saving finished exports. Notifications are optional. Manage permissions in device settings. Manage subscriptions using the app's Settings link or Apple subscription settings. Weekcut does not include advertising or optional analytics tracking.

Email support receives the information you choose to send. Avoid sending private media unless required for your request. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. Providers may process purchase or support records in other countries under their applicable safeguards.
