Sudokov ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is developed and published by Appgea ("the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers the iOS edition (com.furrki.Sudokov).
By downloading, installing, or using Sudokov, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. The Short Version
- The App has no user accounts, and we do not ask for your name or email address.
- Your puzzles, progress and settings are saved locally. On iOS, iCloud can synchronize progress through your Apple account.
- Advertising is served by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier.
- Optional Firebase Analytics collection is disabled in the September 2026 privacy update. Earlier builds could collect usage events.
- If you use Game Center, Apple handles your leaderboard and achievement data.
- We never sell your personal information.
2. Who We Are (Data Controller)
Appgea is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: devappgea@gmail.com.
3. Information the App Processes
Information you provide
None. The App has no registration and no profile. If you email support, we hold that message and your email address only for as long as it takes to answer you.
Information stored on your device
Saved puzzles, solve times, statistics, difficulty preferences, and interface settings are written to your device's local storage. If iCloud backup is enabled on your device, Apple may include this data in your own encrypted device backup. We have no access to that backup.
Information collected automatically by third parties
Advertising identifier, IP address, device model, iOS version, app version, coarse country-level location, and in-app events such as puzzles started and completed. This is processed by Google as described in the next section.
4. Third-Party Services
The App includes software from the providers below. Each one is an independent controller or processor of the data it receives, under its own privacy policy.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from that IP address, device model, operating-system version, and interactions with the ads shown. We never receive your identity from AdMob; we only see aggregate revenue and performance figures.
Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Firebase Analytics (usage measurement)
The September 2026 privacy update disables optional analytics. Earlier installed versions could send screen/session events, progression, app version, a random app-instance identifier and technical information to Google. Such identifiers are pseudonymous. Existing provider records are not deleted by installing an update. Contact devappgea@gmail.com for requests about previously collected records.

Apple iCloud progress synchronization
On iOS, Apple’s iCloud key-value storage can synchronize solved levels, scores, streaks, achievements and game statistics across your devices. Apple processes this data through your iCloud account. Local deletion or uninstalling does not guarantee removal of the iCloud copy. Manage iCloud app access and storage in device settings.
Apple Game Center (leaderboards and achievements)
If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are submitted to Apple under your Game Center identity and may be visible to other players on public leaderboards. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and you can disable it in iOS Settings at any time.
Tracking Permission (iOS)
On iOS, the App asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used for personalised advertising. If you decline, ads are still shown, but they are non-personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Advertising Choices
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to turn off app tracking.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads to delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
- EEA and UK: the updated App uses Google’s consent flow before an ad request becomes eligible. You can change your choice from the App's privacy or settings screen.
Data Retention
Data held on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes the App's local data. Third-party providers retain the data they collect for their own documented periods: Google retains AdMob and Firebase Analytics data on its own schedule, and purchase providers retain transaction records under their applicable terms. We do not operate our own database of user records.
Your Rights (EEA, UK, and similar laws)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Türkiye (KVKK), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing, including profiling for advertising;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email devappgea@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. Because the App has no account system, we may not be able to link a request to a specific device unless you supply identifying details such as a purchase receipt.
Legal Bases (GDPR Article 6)
- Consent — personalised advertising, and analytics where consent is required.
- Contract — delivering purchases and restoring entitlements you paid for.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the App stable, secure, and free from abuse, and measuring aggregate use.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing advertising identifiers with ad networks can qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off tracking for the App.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
- Or email devappgea@gmail.com.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising served in the App is configured as non-personalised where the user is identified as a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, email devappgea@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own operating-system protections, including the passcode, biometric lock, and file encryption. Any data in transit to a third-party service is sent over TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Our third-party providers are based in the United States and other countries, and process data on servers outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, those providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our practices. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in the App. Continued use after a revision means you accept it.
