Introduction
Pillow ("the App") is designed to provide emotional support and mood tracking. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is stored, and your rights.
Data We Collect
You can save mood entries, journal notes, conflict records, breathing sessions and preferences locally. The app-lock PIN is stored as a salted hash in secure storage, not as the original PIN.
Data Storage
Your journal, mood and conflict content is stored on your device. Pillow does not automatically upload this content. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collection are disabled.
Exports contain the personal content you select to share. Copies you export, device backups and secure-storage records may remain after uninstalling. Manage those copies separately.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Subscription support uses RevenueCat and Apple or Google services to process app-user identifiers, device information and purchase records.
Internet radio sends genre searches and selected station identifiers to Radio Browser. Radio Browser and stream providers receive network information such as your IP address when you connect. These requests do not include your journal, mood or conflict content.
When you export and share your records, the destination you choose receives the exported content. Service providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: To send daily reminders
- Biometric authentication: For app lock feature
- Audio: For ambient sounds and radio playback
You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated date.
