Terms of Service

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Günün Hadisi ("the App"), developed and published by Appgea ("the Developer", "we", "us", "our").

They apply to both editions of the App:

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App Is

Günün Hadisi presents one hadith each day, with its chain of narration and its source citation, in Turkish, English, Indonesian, or Arabic. Recorded narration is available for the opening period of the sequence. The App is free and contains no adverts, no purchases, and no subscriptions.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

3. Religious Content and Its Limits

This is the most important section of these Terms. Read it carefully.

3.1 The App is a reading aid, not a religious authority. It is not a fatwa service, and it does not give religious rulings.

3.2 The Arabic text of each hadith is the source. It is reproduced from published collections, and it is what the App asks you to treat as authoritative.

3.3 Translations are provided for understanding only. At the time of writing, the App's translations have not been reviewed and approved by a qualified scholar, and the App says so on the record itself. A translation is one reading of a text; it can be imprecise, and it can be wrong. Do not rely on a translation in this App as a settled statement of meaning.

3.4 Chains of narration follow the order given in the source text and are awaiting editorial verification, as the App also states on the record itself.

3.5 Authenticity grading, legal ruling, and applied practice are matters for qualified scholars. For any question of belief, worship, obligation, or conduct, consult a qualified scholar in person. Do not treat the App as a substitute for that.

3.6 We make no claim that the corpus is complete, that any particular hadith is correctly graded, or that any translation is authoritative.

4. Corrections

If you believe a hadith, a translation, a citation, a chain, or a recording is wrong, tell us. Use the "Is there a problem?" link in the App's Settings screen, or the support form in §11. Content corrections are the reason that link exists, and we take them seriously.

5. Audio Downloads

Narration beyond the opening period is delivered as on-demand asset packs through Apple or Google. Downloading a pack uses your network connection and your device storage. If you are on a metered connection, your carrier may charge you for it. Availability of a pack depends on Apple's and Google's services, and we do not guarantee it.

6. Availability

The App is provided as-is and as-available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

The App's software, design, artwork, photographs, typography, translations, and audio recordings are owned by Appgea or licensed to it, and are protected by copyright and other laws. The underlying hadith texts are drawn from published classical collections. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

8. Your Own Data

Anything the App stores about your use of it — your reading language, your saved hadiths — is stored on your device only, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for it. Uninstalling the App erases it, and we cannot recover it for you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appgea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App, which is zero.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Apple and Google

12.1 These Terms are between you and Appgea, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content.

12.2 Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12.3 Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

12.4 Any claim relating to the App's failure to conform to a warranty is our responsibility, not Apple's or Google's.

12.5 You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and the current version will always be reachable from the App's Settings screen and from the store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
