DroneXtreme ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is developed and published by Appgea ("the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers the iOS and Android editions (com.appgea.dronextreme).
By downloading, installing, or using DroneXtreme, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. The Short Version
- The App has no user accounts, and we do not ask for your name or email address.
- Your progress, best runs, and settings stay on your device.
- Advertising is served by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier.
- Aggregate usage is measured with Firebase Analytics.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google and validated by RevenueCat.
- We never sell your personal information.
2. Who We Are (Data Controller)
Appgea is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: devappgea@gmail.com.
3. Information the App Processes
Information you provide
None. The App has no registration, no login, and no profile. If you email support, we hold that message and your email address only for as long as it takes to answer you.
Information stored on your device
Level progress, best times, captured-area records, unlocked content, and audio and control settings are written to your device's local storage. Deleting the App deletes them.
Information collected automatically by third parties
Advertising identifier, IP address, device model, operating-system version, app version, coarse country-level location, and in-app events such as runs started and levels completed. This is processed by Google and RevenueCat as described in the next section.
4. Third-Party Services
The App includes software from the providers below. Each one is an independent controller or processor of the data it receives, under its own privacy policy.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from that IP address, device model, operating-system version, and interactions with the ads shown. We never receive your identity from AdMob; we only see aggregate revenue and performance figures.
Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Firebase Analytics (usage measurement)
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used. It records events such as screens opened, sessions started, and app version, together with a randomly generated app-instance identifier, device model, operating-system version, and country. It does not record your name, email address, or contact list.
Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat (purchases)
In-app purchases are validated through RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous app-user identifier and the receipt issued by Apple or Google. This is how the App knows what you have paid for, including after a reinstall or on a new device. RevenueCat never receives your payment-card details.
RevenueCat's policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple and Google (payment processing)
All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment-card number, billing address, or Apple/Google account credentials. Apple and Google handle the transaction under their own privacy policies.
Tracking Permission (iOS)
On iOS, the App asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used for personalised advertising. If you decline, ads are still shown, but they are non-personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Advertising Choices
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to turn off app tracking.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads to delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
- EEA and UK: the App presents a Google-certified consent message on first launch. You can change your choice from the App's privacy or settings screen.
Data Retention
Data held on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes the App's local data. Third-party providers retain the data they collect for their own documented periods: Google retains AdMob and Firebase Analytics data on its own schedule, and RevenueCat retains purchase records for as long as the account is active. We do not operate our own database of user records.
Your Rights (EEA, UK, and similar laws)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Türkiye (KVKK), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing, including profiling for advertising;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email devappgea@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. Because the App has no account system, we may not be able to link a request to a specific device unless you supply identifying details such as a purchase receipt.
Legal Bases (GDPR Article 6)
- Consent — personalised advertising, and analytics where consent is required.
- Contract — delivering purchases and restoring entitlements you paid for.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the App stable, secure, and free from abuse, and measuring aggregate use.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing advertising identifiers with ad networks can qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off tracking for the App.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
- Or email devappgea@gmail.com.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising served in the App is configured as non-personalised where the user is identified as a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, email devappgea@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own operating-system protections, including the passcode, biometric lock, and file encryption. Any data in transit to a third-party service is sent over TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Our third-party providers are based in the United States and other countries, and process data on servers outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, those providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our practices. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in the App. Continued use after a revision means you accept it.
